If a a different battery gives you the same problem, you can pretty safely assume there is a problem with the camera body that needs to be looked at. On the other hand, if the loaner-battery doesn't give you the same issue, then you know it's time to replace the battery.If you can't get the camera to a local shop then I would suggest simply buying a new battery from somewhere with a good reputation and a legit return policy.
