Bath time

Also, how can I upload my Picasa images directly to a post?
If I save it to my machine from Picasa and upload it that way, do I lose all the EXIF?

Thanks

I Like: The angle, his facial expression, his eyes and the composition for the most part.

I do not like: The crop or composition at the top is too close to his head, feels cut off, too close. I would have cropped off more of the left, next time try to position him so the tub and wall are the only things in the background, the doorway is another distraction, verticle composition would help. The other objects in the background are distracting also.

Not sure about the white balance, his skintones look good, it may be the tan walls are impacting the visual effect.

Thanks for your feedback Rick, it's very helpful.

I was focusing mainly on his eyes and waiting for the right expression that I didn't really frame it properly.
As you mentioned, background distractions, framing too close to the top of his head etc.

I'll watch out for this more in the future.

Thanks again!!

I think ultimately what this boils down to is...

Unless you're posing with props and making an effort to create a scene, a baby in a bathtub is for lack of a better term, just a snapshot. It's one of those photos that people simply just take on their cell phones. There's not really much one can do in the way of composition, lighting, etc. that we would normally associate with a photograph.

Something like this, on the other hand, has more visual impact:
