Message: <blockquote data-quote="Whiskeyman" data-source="post: 495100" data-attributes="member: 13556">Thanks for the good words, everyone.  The band members and their families were initially very excited, and still are, but now a lot of them are realizing that there is a lot of hard work to be done to prepare for the trip.  For the most part, we are getting into the "get it done" mode.  At the football game that week, the crowd went ballistic with enthusiasm when they announced the trip prior to the performance at half-time.  The previous trips have seen the band get strong support from the local community, and it's happening that way again.  We're very fortunate to live where the community is so supportive of our students!WM</blockquote>
