The only application I can see for this in the real world would be turning a 600mm lens into a 24000mm lens. Granted, it would have to be high quality glass with exquisite sharpness but if all you wanted was a 12mp final image you could easily squeeze 4x the focal length of any given lens. It would be a boon for wildlife photographers, that's for sure.</p></blockquote><p></p>
