Since 1 week we have a new claim to fame here in Austria! I am surprised no one has congratulated me yet, although I think maybe the news has not travelled over the pond.

We are all so proud :):):)

I think the the UK should give up on Eurovision... It never matters who or what we put forward, we come near the bottom! lol

Mind you, I did enjoy Poland's entry!

congratulations or comiserations, depends if you're a glass half empty or full kinda person. It has certainly sparked hot political discussion here in austria. Still, at least will benefit from the added tourism next year.

If its any consolation, i voted for the netherlands. Beautiful song. Maybe you would have had more success if the blond had worn a fake beard and the guy was in drag. ;)

We are used to: “Switzerland: zero points!“.

Skater that is great! Hopefully you will have some free time to look around, there is so much to see. At least you must find the time to visit schönbrunn palace. Let me know how you get on and dont forget your camera, i wanna see pics

The conference I'm going to is at Schönbrunn Palace, so it shouldn't be hard to get out of the conference center to see the palace. :) I also plan to see the Technisches Museum and whatever else catches my attention. I plan to bring the D7000. :)
