I can't understand why anyone who can be a donor wouldn't want to do something good..... even after they have died.

It's not like they're going to need any of their old parts.

My attitude is this: I do not 'have' a soul.......... I AM a soul. Once I shed this mortal coil I have no further use for it. But if someone can have their time here on this plane improved by what I no longer need, then why not?

I'm a donor, but I love sport bikes and the speed that comes with t. My last bike would easily go 96mph in first gear.

I'm afraid they'll have to clean the gravel out before using my organs.

Yes but I have a problem with being a "donor". I have a problem with the entire system. I get into an unfortunate accident. I'm not going to make it so the decision is to exercise my "donor" status.

My family is then sent a large bill for my medical care up to that point and the recipients family is sent a large bill for accepting my donation. I believe my family should see some sort of compensation.

Just a rant.

I never wanted to donate my organs as I watch too many bad movies and was like.. what if I'm not really dead? What if I feel it? And well.. I don't know where I go when I'm dead so I might need them. I have changed though! My cousin needed a triple transplant - he wasn't able to get it though (he was too weak) but it did get me thinking. It still terrifies me but if it can help somebody, how can I not do it.
