Are diffusers for pop-up flash worthwhile?

The Gary Fong set up is good, if a bit overpriced at about $16, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Gary-Fong-Puffer-Flash-Diffuser/dp/B0011000R6/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1363216880&sr=1-1" target="_blank">but it's in stock</a> at least...</p></blockquote><p></p>
