"It's a bird, it's a plane, it's super blur" I didn't plan on this, knew it was coming but went to bed and didn't set the alarm - but up at 4:00 a.m. looking out the bathroom window and saw the bright moon and said to myself "Why not?" Got my gear and stepped outside my back door. I live about 3 hours North of the nearest urban area so clear skys are common. But it was cold. Once the tripod was set up I could step out, shoot three images (bracketed to be sure about exposure) then back inside. Out again two or three minutes later, three more, in and out, in and out. Got the WD40 for the door (wife was still annoyed). Cooked up some hot chocolate. Another batch of shots. and then because I was using live view I burned through the battery. Bring it in, swap out the battery and take outside set up again, more shots. .... in and out from 4:00 a.m. to almost 7:00 a.m. "It will be fun they said.... " :o
