One thing I'd like to add is that gun ownership cuts across both sides of the political spectrum. A little heavier cut on the right than the left but both sides are strong believers in the 2nd amendment and both sides enjoy owning guns. There really is no gap between sides on the sanctity of the 2nd amendment, it seems the gap lies more in what is and isn't protected under this amendment. But even here in California (aka - The Peoples Republic of California) there are many very liberal, very granola-esq people who really enjoy blowing things up with their guns and are more than a little bothered by the assumption that being liberal means you do not believe in guns.</p></blockquote><p></p>
