It referring to points in the news that is not directly related to the crime( in my opinion). The guns in his house that were not used in the crime, and was just used to add to the facts to increase interest in the report. It makes it seem that the amount of guns owned is directly connected to the criminal act. Where as there is nothing that can or will prove this at this time(in my opinion), so it was just added to create interest by giving the impression that there is a direct connection between the amount of guns owned to the commission of the crime they are talking about. This I believe this is sensationalism.But this is all just my personal opinion.</blockquote>
