I find nothing offensive about the original post and as long as every one keeps it civil and does not point fingers at anyone else in this forum I for one won't pull it. I visited Quebec many years ago and stayed for a very long visit. I found the people there to be the nicest group of people you could ever be around. Even though I spoke no French and some of the ones I dealt with spoke no English a had several go out of their way to help me along. One person actually got on the bus with me to make sure I got to where I needed to go. The city was clean and neat. No litter on the roads or parks. Granted this was 35 years ago but that is the wonderful impression I was left with of Canada. Now to the guns part. No, I don't find it surprising that someone there has guns. I would bet up in the far north of Canada no one would leave home without a gun for protection form the wildlife both human and animal. The fact that someone would have 180+ guns in there home would cause to ask some questions though. I have one friend that when you go in one secure man cave room in his house the entire room is lined with rifles standing vertical and the area below them is all pistols. there has to be over 300 guns in that room. IT is a collection of some of the nicest guns I have ever seen. But that is what it is. A collection. The OP posted article does not sound like a collector but more like someone looking for trouble. Does the fact that he lives in Canada surprise me. Yes a little but there are crazies everywhere. Now, lets place nice here and we can have an interesting off topic discussion about Canadians, The USA and the gun culture everywhere.
