It's very cool.. even after you know what's happening, your brain won't let you believe :)
So you can't really trust everything you see

I've seem this effect before with the hollow mask of a human face.

One other thing I've found, and it takes me a great deal of effort to overcome it, is that, if you look at a photo of craters on the moon and then turn it upside down, the craters will look like bubbles. Your brain tells you that the sun is coming from a certain direction and it makes you believe that the ground is sloping upwards instead of downwards.
