Am I actually undead?

It happened to me again today. It happens a lot. Automatic sink faucets and towel dispensers rarely are able to see me.

I just spent a minute trying to wave my hands frantically under 2 different restroom faucets to get water to flow. Then I could not get a paper towel to dispense at 2 fixtures. A man walking in waves his magic hand under the thing to help me. 1st try. Aaaaaaaarrrrhgggg!

Am I the only one the machines are ignoring here?

That happened to some lady in the ladies room a couple of years back. She was waving on the sides and under the machine. I felt bad when I had to show her to turn the knob, it wasn't automatic.

I finally had to give up at a roadside rest stop recently. No water from the sinks, and nobody else was around. Automation isn't always what it's cracked up to be to be. Either that or I'm one of the living dead, too :D
