These Herons are neat and this is one of only 4 of their Rookery's in PA. The National Audubon Society has labeled it the 82 Important Area in the US. There are over 100 Herons there. It's seems like there is one in every tree. It is also one of only two Great Egret colonies in the state. If you look at this pic you will see three Herons in a top to bottom row on the left and 4 nesting Egrets.
