[QUOTE="Iansky, post: 476377, member: 9824"] Last Friday a friend and I went to one of the "Pay & view" fields right across from the main stand at Fairford, Glos the venue for the Royal International Air Tatoo, it cost us £15 for the day versus around £45 on the airfield so providing we didn't want to wander the flight line static displays we had a great view of the action. Unfortunately, the weather was dull, overcast with flat lighting and occasional rain and only in the afternoon did the sky turn blue and by then the majority of the flying was coming to an end. I thought this was an ideal chance to try the Tamron 150-600mm on the D810 and see how they worked together - I was not dissapointed and many of the images are hand held. The lens is super fast (and quiet) to focus and never missed a beat even when tracking, I am very happy and the results I am pleased with especially considering the poor conditions. Sorry it is image heavy!
