Two things to report 1- OpenCL - Issue comes back after update V3.0.1.3808 after downloading and applying the update released yesterday (11/6). The mysterious random program crashes started for me as was the case in V2. Simply toggling off OpenCL in the performance area of settings solved this issue for me. For those new to Affinity this OpenCL crashing depends on your hardware (video card) and computer configuration. Sometimes when I would get a video driver update I would retest and it would change sometimes better sometimes for the worse. If you would do a benchmark the increase in performance is measurable in numbers but for me in real life its not noticeable to my workflow. Never made me want to replace my video card for this issue. If V3 cashes for you try this simple setting before going nuts with other stuff. 2- Linking your old Affinity to V3 - for owners of a previous Affinity version's you can link your old Affinity credentials to the new owners Canva - To do this click your "name" on the welcome screen then "Advanced" and choose "Link Affinity ID" then after doing this re-click to Advanced and choose "manage purchased content" and you can ad anything you bought or received as a perk to V3. (you can also re-download installers you bought for V1 and or V2 if you did not save them and want copies).
