AF-S type lenses from third parties

Hi All,

I was a new school boy in photography when I bought a new D3200. I later discovered that lenses with AF-S capacity only do autofocus on a D3200 body.
I have known that Tamron PZD's and Sigma HSM's have got an in-built focus motor in them, but I am not sure if they are fully compatible with my camera body. Any help in this regards would be appreciated :)

"It Should" but not always, there have been firmware incompatibilities that can cause problems. These can occur if you upgrade firmware on the camera or lens after using a combination for a while.

If you do not have a lot of experience in sorting out firmware issues, you are safest to stick with Nikon lenses on your camera.
