I asked if there was another firmware update in the works to fix that problem and he said since it was a hardware issue, software probably wouldn't fix that issue.&nbsp; He did recommended that I buy the DX version of that lens since that issue doesn't seem to exist with it. That really didn't make any sense and became very confusing to me actually.&nbsp; It brought up the question Why? What is different between the AF-P FX version and the DX version? If I had really known that I couldn't fully use the newer lenses, I might have kept the d7500... but I will wait and see.&nbsp; Maybe I will just get a good used older AF-S version and save 4-500.00.&nbsp; It was a sharp lens on my d610 when I had it.&nbsp; Should be ok on my d7200.</blockquote>
