Hi! My boyfriend just updated my oldschool D3100 to the newer D3400. He also bought me a couple of lenses...(nice guy, right!?) plus I had a growing collection of my own... However, the lenses he purchased, as well as my older lenses, are the AF mount style (they work great with the 3100), but do not work with the 3400, I noticed the AF-P Mount has an 8th contact point... Does anyone know of a mount adapter I can buy to use my AF style lenses with my new camera? or some sort of super-brilliant hack I can do to get the lens to register on the camera? I grew up shooting exclusively film, and am ok with adjusting the lens itself, however I have grown quite accustomed to my in viewfinder light meter...
Any and all suggestions/help are super-mega appreciated!
