AF Fine tune.

I was just bored so I wandered over to Mr Rockwells site for some light reading. Immediately I ended up angry. The first article on the page was entitled "AF fine tune?".

Having spent a lot of time trying to get my lenses dialled ( all Nikon) I was flabbergasted that he said it was a waste of time, especially when using same brand bodies and lenses.

In case anybody stumbles on this article, please ignore the advice. The only thing I would say is that the issue was much more obvious on FX as the depth of field is less like for like.

His website would be my last resort when looking for recommendations. His suggestions are more for beginners who are just getting into photography.

I couldn't agree more, however I just had a look for the first time in ages and the first article incensed me. Maybe I should block his URL on my firewall.
