Tim Grey's daily email reminded me that I wanted to take a look at Student/Teacher Pricing for the CS6 line to see if I want to invest in a perpetual license for any current products. Funny thing is, most are no longer available. Adobe took over academic verification from a 3rd party vendor at the beginning of the year, and it would seem that it was in anticipation of the Creative Cloud move. Now they can verify eligibility on a regular basis and change subscription pricing accordingly. Some are still for sale through Amazon and other places, you just need to verify the eligibility with Adobe to get the license key. Sort of sucks that Adobe has made it more difficult to find and get perpetual license stuff on their site (the point in Tim's email that got me over there looking).
I may need to give them a call and see if I need to requalify or not since my purchase of Photoshop earlier this year.
BTW, Lightroom 4 and Elements 11 Student/Teacher editions are still for sale on the Adobe website.
