Adobe Creative Cloud plan and D7200

Just getting back into photography and wondering if the Adobe Creative Cloud Photo Plan is a good way to go with a Nikon D7200 and shooting RAW? I've not downloaded the Nikon stuff yet to see how well it works. From reading some other posts some like it and others don't seem to like the Nikon software. The monthly price is not a bad plan to me. It's been maybe 12-13 years since I used the Nikon stuff with the D1x so I'm going to be rusty on anything I load up.

Also is their cloud plan like what microsoft does with their cloud stuff? If I use any of it on my phone does it take up much space?

I like the CC plan. Many of us here have it. Lots of help available online. I really like the LR organizer too (some don't). Try the Nikon stuff. Then get the CC trial, use your 30 days before you pay, its like a free month.

As for the 'cloud', the software is stand alone, it just needs to check in once in awhile to keep working. Nothing really 'cloud' about it. There is cloud storage and sharing. I've never touched it and don't really know much about it. LR on my tablet? Uggh, not impressed. Maybe I don't know what I'm doing, but I find the mobile not intuitive and awkward. Nothing like the desktop version which I really find easy to use.

If/when you sign up, read plan carefully. There was some offers that were month by month and you could cancel anytime. But I think I am mostly seeing 12 month commitments even though its billed monthly. Good stuff though. I enjoy LR and have a lot to learn about PS, but its there when I need it. I was resistant to subscription software, but glad I gave in.

I too like the CC plan. In addition to getting the latest software, you get free updates not only to PS, but for me LR and Bridge. I honestly could care about LR but the PS and Bridge updates are worth it.

I am a fan of the Creative Cloud as well. I do have a few plugins that enhance both Photoshop and Light Room but I really do not use anything else. I did not even load the Nikon software when I upgraded to the D7200.
