I've owned both the D500 and D750 for over 3.5 years. The D750 has been my "go to" DSLR, with the D500 getting very little usage. I sold the D500 last week (only 435 clicks), along with the 4 DX lenses I had. They were kit lenses and a couple of Tokina wide angle zooms. Nikon has advertised a D610 package, with the body, MD-D14 power module, 50mm f/1.8 lens, and the WU-1B WI-FI adapter. I don't do a lot of downloading from my cameras, so the WU-1B may end up being superfluous. However, for the price of right at $900, even though discontinued, the price was too good to ignore. The controls are similar to my D750, and while the AF module isn't quite as sophisticated as the D750, it will do for my needs. The power module is a really great feature, and I ended up buying an extra EN-EL15 battery for it. Nothing like having extra power available; I also carry an 8-pack of AA's always, so I can switch to them if need be. I also ordered a couple of memory cards. Hopefully, I'll be out after the snowfall stops, and break it in properly.
