A Week Of Firsts...

Well, today is the first business trip since I bought the Nikon that it isn't traveling with me. Short trip to New Orleans, and it doesn't look like there's time to get away from work long enough to use it, so that bag stayed home.

Last weekend, my wife and I took out both camera bodies to do some shoots in the historic town square of Collierville TN. I gotta say, I think she's got a better eye than me, and I might start using her hand downs versus the other way around. :D

Should have some pics to post from last weekend later today.

It's bothering you though, isn't it? "I'm visiting a location away from my town and I don't have my camera. I don't have time to go out and really take photographs, but I still don't have my camera." Right? :D It would bug me. A LOT.

Exactly!

I don't mind not having the weight of the tripod in my suitcase, or the extra bag on my shoulder when going through airport security. What I mind is knowing that *IF* I see a shot I want, I don't have my camera with me.

I'm doomed to be limited just to selfies in New Orleans for the day. :D
