Their not the cheapest and not the most expensive plus the reviews where pretty good. I purchased them through either Adorama or B&H. The C-stands I got through either can't remember. Yes they do come as a kit. But most people I know buy individual pieces.Like I got a C-stand and also got a boom arm with it as a kit. And later got another C-stand by it's self. I'm sure you can find them anywhere but I deal with Adorama or B&H.Mathews and Avenger are the two top names, but there are others but not sure about quality.</blockquote>
