Hello everyone from a new member in Boynton Beach Florida. I found the information on the 80 to 400 very interesting and useful especially the suggestion about stopping the zoom before it reaches the lower limit of travel at 80 mm. I look forward to future Nikonnite usefull information.

I go to Green Cay when I can. Where is Seacrest Scrub? Sounds like a place I would like to visit.

Take the walkway to the circle, bear left. There's a little opening after marker 6. Take that path to the opening. The Rufous has been spotted in the giant firebush. Been there for over a month now.

I googled Seacrest. And found all the info I need. I’m putting this on the top of my list to visit . Thanks again.
Regarding the 80 to 400 lens the zoom ring is very stiff and is getting more difficult to turn. Is there any way to lubricate it without a full tear down of the lens?
