73 year old total newby here

I will be using a ten year old L820 that is my daughter's that she doesn't use anymore.
I know that this camera is limited by today's standards but I figured it is a good place to start.
I am lucky to live in Denver Colorado so there are many things I can do while learning.
I hope to learn a lot.
