I've had it for about 10 years or so and it's been great on film and on DX cameras. I just ordered the D800E along with the 70-200 F/4 so when I get the FX camera I plan to test the 80-200 on it and if it doesn't meet my standards I'll sell it or designate it for use on DX only. But from what I've read it should be more than acceptable on the D800E. I bought the f/4 version to use with the FX camera for travel. I don't like taking the 80-200 on planes; it's just to bulky and heavy.</p></blockquote><p></p>
