7 days off and carless

Well I start my 7 days off again this afternoon, but once again I am carless. So hopefully you guys are not yet sick of my "macro" shots. But if you are I may just put on my 80-400 and go for a walk around the golf course which has a few lakes and hopefully water birds etc in them. Anyway I am hoping my car is ready by late this week but I am not holding my breath.

On the local golf courses around the dams and creeks you can get some shots of birds and a few lizards and goannas...

Even some of the holes are very pretty, might want to carry a wider lens as well...Hirer a golf cart to carry your beer esky...

My place backs on to the golf course have been hoping to go to a place where I know some frilled neck lizards are but alas I cannot as yet.

The worst thing about my car is that I could have bought a D4 plus a new 80-400 for the repair costs.

Just some repairs to the engine, I want it done before the wet season really hits and I miss out on the awesome lightning shows.
