to be totally honest i had not realised that photoshop could do this, so i decided to have a go with 5 similar images i took at Burton Dassett Hill the other night after the power to my scope failed 
these are fairly obvious what they are
on the left is the stacked image then processed in Lightroom, one right is one of the stacked images edited in PS Raw and Lightroom
