Message: <blockquote data-quote="egosbar" data-source="post: 580257" data-attributes="member: 19871">your on the same track as me , the 500 looks a killer camera and a worthy upgrade from the 7100 i thinknot sure on the 16-80 its got a pretty ordinary focus motor i believe for the amount they want for it , $600 and id buy it but for over $1000 no way (talking aust dollars) , pretty sure ill go with the 24-85 unless something comes out from photokina probably look at the 200-500 or the 150-600 when i have the coin i think the d500 and 200-500 will be a pretty good combo for birding but the 70-300 will have to come first still tossing up on a 18-140 or 18-200 as my walk around lens when i dont want to carry the bag of tricks.</blockquote>
