400 or 500mm f2.8 lenses

Does anyone have any sugestions on a 400 to 600mm f2.8 lens that is affordable for the d7000? i am taking animal and nature and some sports photos.
Also what is a good lens for portraits and or weddings?

What's your definition of affordable? 400-600 2.8 lenses are going to cost you no matter what brand you choose.

For portraits, depending on your lens budget, I'd suggest an 85mm 1.8 (1.4 if you can shell out the extra money) or the more expensive 24-70mm 2.8.

Nikon makes a 400mm 2.8 that sells for about 9 to 10 grand and the 600mm f4 sells for about 10 to 11 grand

I'm not sure this is a serious question. Just using that sort off glass properly (it's big and heavy) would suggest a level of experience that knows the answer. If it is serious provide more info please, like budget.
