Yes, I currently have 3 of these and on of the BackUp plus variety. Or do I have 2 of the BackUp plus, can't remember for sure. But my point is yes, I do, my oldest one is about 5 yrs old and works just fine.

I believe it's a mistake - there probably should have been written "prior to Win 7" (aiming at XP and the older op systems that have a problem recognizing disks/partitions larger than 2TB, thanks to a so-called MBR partitioning).
