You'll notice the speed from startup right through to the laborious chores. What are the specs? Even if you didn't get Fusion, it's a spectacular bit of design. I have a new MacBook Air also and the speed of that is fantastic too. I'm sure you'll love the Mac. Quiet and sleek. As an aside, I vowed to keep my desk sleek like the Mac. Just as an ode to its clean lines.
