That has intentional drop written all over it from the beginning of the video. Something about his tone and mannerisms. Likely a fake to get a ton of hits from photo geeks.

idiot!!! even if it is fake he deserves the bad actor award and the idiot combined bad actor award. If the lens survived he also deserves the removing cap off the lens before the body award as this too is a very very bad idea....... What an idiot :p

I saw this one last week. To me it looks real, when I saw his face it reminded me of my lens drop this past summer.

So many fails here. If you're going to do that demo;

1. Use a cheap lens.
2. No need to do it that many times.
3. Do it over a soft surface in the event you drop it.
4. Stop saying "Like a pro"

...Cut....... LoL

:mad:There is one thing common for these guys who do the reviews of the lenses (I wonder has anybody else here noticed it or is it only me): they keep SLAPPING the lens(es) during the review(s), as if the lenses were the ass cheeks of a beautiful girl or a nasty child... No wonder then that these blunders happen... Is there any authority in the companies such as Nikon or Canon, who could instruct these guys by telling them to restrain themselves from actually HITTING the lenses with the palms of their hands during these reviews? Is there a chance to inform them about modern lenses being fragile, complicated electronic, mechanical and optical devices that should be treated with the utmost care, which includes keeping them away from any unnecessary shaking, not to mention dropping them and BEATING them...?!

Or the other one is to review a camera model, waving the camera around like a flag w/ no lens or body cap insalled.

I guess maybe it's not theirs so why bother?

I got that same vibe from this video. I don't think his other videos got nearly as much attention before this one.

*Absolute Facepalm*

If the video is legit he's one variety of dumba-- and, if it's faked, he's just a different variety of dumba--.
I don't care whose brand it is, only idiot treats their equipment like that...

"Just like a professional." Ummm... No. You mean to say, "Just like the poser I am."

I've been swapping lenses on SLRs and DSLRs for 35 years and have always let caution overrule haste. There's always been a voice in my head saying to take it easy, plan where the lenses will be set down and that no shot is urgent enough to risk damaging the camera or lens during a change. Of course, I'm not a Canon pro tho. <g>

Do pros need to change lenses really fast or something? I take my time when changing my lenses. It's not worth ruining them.
