2 Dslr + lens bag advice

My current set up is a Chrome Industries Niko Messenger bag, it'll fit the D7000 with grip, with either the 18-140 or 10-24 with hoods at the ready or the 70-300 with hood reversed. There's space for the body+lens and the other 2 lenses mentioned + a SB 400 in the main compartment. In the top pocket I have the D3200 with the 35 attached plus all the little accessories, filters, etc. plus a tripod strapped to the side! Now that I've got a 85 I need a bag that can fit the lot. Yes I'm one of those guys that likes to bring it all! I know I'll narrow down the kit but for now I like to have whatever I have wherever I am. Worse case right now is just get a Lowepro lens case and bring that along.

Any my recommendations for a non backpack that can hold a gripped body with lens + a standard body with lens, and have space for the other 3 + accessories? I'm looking into the Thinktank Retrospective 40, I've seen a pic with 2 bodies side by side facing down in the main compartment. Another option, is getting a smaller bag say a Thinktank holster and attach it to the side (I guess the front if your wearing the bag) and putting one setup in there. I'm trying to find something that can still fit under a domestic flight seat. If nothing is recommended in a shoulder bag I guess a backpack will do so I'm open to suggestions from any angle.

Thanks

The 40 should fit all of that. I have the 20 and it fits my body, plus tamzooka and 3 other lenses, a flash, and misc accessories snugly.

How does the finish hold up? I've never seen one in person. Online it looks silt and suede like. Does it scratch easy an if it does then do we just call that patina?

I got the green one. I think they call it pinestone or something. It's an amazing fabric. Very nice plush feel but feels very very durable at the same time. Think Tank bags are worth their hefty entry fee!

Just picked up a Retrospective 40 from B&H for $119+ s&h. Oddly enough, only the 40, 50 are on special. Guess no one needs a big ass bag?

Sorry I'm late to this party; I have a bag very similar to this I've been thinking of getting rid of. Got it at a Liquid Force promotion some time ago and never used it.

It is a camo print in denier nylon, with both top and side access. I'll post photos if anyone is interested.

Just a update. I got the Retrospective 40 on sale for $119 at B&H. First impression was its smaller then I thought. I got a D7000 with grip and 18-140 with hood at the ready attached, a D3200 with 35 1.8 attached, a 10-24 with hood at the ready, a 70-300 with hood reversed, a 24 2.8, a 85 1.8, a SB400, 2 filter cases, and a bunch of little necessities. I still have room for a 50 1.8 if I decide to get one! The bag doesn't feel as heavy as my Chrome Niko Messenger even though this has more stuff in it. Probably due to the great shoulder strap. Needless to say, I'm pretty impressed.
