It's very, very good lens. One of my favorite zooms for my D7100. IMO, it's kind of a "Jack of all Trades Master at None" sort of lens. You'll have some distortion and chromatic aberration to deal with but the distortion cleans up easily with a lens profile in LR or PS. The CA cleans up easily as well but you'll need to handle that manually. When I went full frame, I kept my D7100 and the 18-140mm was one of VERY few DX lenses I held on to so... Yeah. That should tell you something.

I have been using it for a while. I just changed other to the Nikon 24-120 as its replacement. Have not decided on what I will do the the 18-140 yet. It is a sweet lens.

The 18-140mm is a great lens. I use it with my 7100 all the time. It stays on my camera the majority of the time, I use it for professional use a lot also. Lots of outdoor events and awards ceremonies that people hire me for. The range is great, It's an awesome lens for everyday use. When I go on day trips to say-- a big city, this is the only lens I use. highly recommend!

It is a fantastic walk around DX lens. If I could only leave home with one lens on my Sunday photo drives, it would be the one, hands down.
