It was fine for what it was, a lens that can shoot everything (except macro). The more you ask a lens to do, the more you'll sacrifice in overall IQ. While the 18-140 won't shoot as long, I think it will provide better IQ than the 18-200. But, if you're not pixel peeping, you might not see much difference.
