Walked to the farmers market this morning and got this;

I've had mine for a while now and love it but don't use it very often but I had it on a recent camping trip and got this shot of my grandson.

That's a shame it's such an amazing place, I fell in love with it and would love to return some day. Here's a few shots I took while I was there, if you get a chance post some shots when you return.

Sent my D7000 off yesterday to Nikon, had a little mishap and it got partially submerged in water. Initial estimate for repair was $150-$300! Anybody that's dealt with NIkon know approximately how long it will take to get it back?

I just returned from a month long tour of Arizona and Utah and want to enlarge and frame a couple of the finished shots. What service do y'all use? This is my favorite so far. Monument Valley in NW Arizona

Here's a shot I took 2 years ago on a tour I made of the US but just processed today. As I'm learning more about processing photos I go back over my old shots to see what if anything I can do with them and this one I thought looked better in B&W.

I shot my grandsons birthday this weekend and this is one I got with my 85mm 1.8D, love this lens.

Playing with textures I got from skeletal mess Before After I like how it looks but it's not the right texture for the photo. What i was trying for was an old painting with flaking paint, if that makes any sense.

Get your kicks on Rte 66! Here's an old one I dug out of the archives it's a truck stop museum in Russell, OK on the old Route 66. It's a family owned and has been in biz a LONG time and is one of the few truck stops that is still operational on the old Rte 66.

OK I'm going to get an early start on tomorrows today and post one that is new to me. I've always wanted to try the clarity set in a minus direction but never had a photo that it looked good with but I think it works here. It was very bright at the beach so a lot of my pictures didn't turn out...

Here's today's entry! One other thing I will mention here is that 99% of these travel photos were taken from a moving vehicle, got to be pretty good at it.
