I have been trying to decider between the 17-35mm VR F4 and the new 18-35mm zoom for my D810. Anyone here compared the two? I have heard the 18-35mm is actually quite sharp but no VR. The 16-35 is $500+ more expensive. Any opinions? Need to make a decision ASAP Thanks

Hi, I am 50 clicks into my D810 and I have found 3 lubricant spots on the sensor as well as 15-20 dust spots. I don't think this is excessive but I wish it had been pristine.... Anyone else?
