    I agree with this. I own two (2) AF-P NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR lenses. One is dedicated for use with my D500. The other is shared with my D5600 and D3400.

    Follow up: I've used the Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR for a while since the OP. I'm now able to say that I'm happy with my purchase. It strikes a very good balance between price and performance IMO.
