A friend and customer came in on this for a repair to an engine / side stand mount Cleaned up the UNF(ANF) 3/8 24 tpi thread and two new nuts
The cylinder head was worth a shot !
These are shots of my Honda crank or rather the one I killed using the 18/55 lens and on the later ones extension tubes
I don't think I quite there yet it very difficult to get the focus spot on !

Here are two different attempts using the same three exposures -2 correct and + 2 stops
I think I like the scenery better in the first but the sky is better in the second !
What do you think ?
I got a medium priced set of tubes off ebay OK not great but nor is my budget!
There the better type with auto focus and aperture connections
First got the nothing worked and the camera said lens not connected
After lots of flafffling and no help from the useless seller I sussed it
