As I already had a Hasselblad 553ELX and CF lenses, from 40mm up to 350mm, it was a no-brainer to buy the Hassy 907X body with the CFV II 50C digital back. I then got the Cambo Actus DB2 view camera for architecture and studio photography. I can switch the digital back between the Actus, the...

Not sure I agree with your perpendicular comment, I straightened it in LR before posting though. If I get a chance I will try and retake the shot with my Cambo Actus view camera & Hasselblad back.

St. Nicholas' church, Stretton in Rutland. This small village church was built from 1086. There is no tower but a bell-cote instead - the rest of the church was built in the 13th century. Nikon Z8, Nikkor Z 24-120mm F4, with Kase CPL.

Hi Blue439, Yes, I can see that the sky has been added due to the light or dark transitions from the very edge of the pillars to sky. Like Clovishound wrote, the sky appears to be overly dramatic which made me look closer. I still like the photo though!

Lol, no, it's just that I didn't correct the converging verticals! These photos were taken before I bought the Laowa 15mm shift lens.

I recently went back to St. Botolph's Church in Boston, Lincolnshire referred to as "The Boston Stump". The church has one of the tallest medieval towers in the country, with a height of approximately 266 feet 9 inches (81.31m). Nikon Z8, Z Nikkors 24-120mm & 14-30mm. The interior shot is made...

Here's another shot with the Laowa 15mm shift lens. Very impressed with it and impatiently waiting for Nikon to bring out their own shift lenses in Z mount. This is Haceby church again in Lincolnshire. The cemetary is completely overgrown and surrounded by a wall and barbed wire fencing. I had...

I've just bought a used Laowa 15mm D-Zero shift lens in Z mount for £689 in mint condition and have been testing it recently. Here is a shot of Braceby church in Lincolnshire. It is over 800 years old and has no electricity or water supply. The villagers were cleaning it and had to bring their...

There is a wonderful display of Foxglove in our garden so I decided to use the Nikon 105mm F2 Defocus Image Control lens to see how it could render the flowers. All photos were taken hand-held, wide open at F2 and the really soft focus ones were made by pushing the defocus control all the...

Here's a shot taken two weeks ago when the weather was very stormy. I used my 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 G II lens which punches well above its weight, especially bearing in mind its price!

Here's a photo I took last night. Just outside my village there is a steep hill leading down to the River Glen. On the other side of the river the ground rises sharply and the farmer has sown wheat up the hillside. I love the patterns in the crops so took the photo, handheld, just before dusk...

Here's a photo of the village church taken last week. The weather here (England) has been quite changeable to say the least and I nipped out after dinner to catch the dark brooding cloud behind the church.
