I know this thread is a few months old, but I haven't been logged into the forum lately.
I have 'refurnished' my filter set with Breakthrough Photography ND's and the CPL and am very happy. The only drawback is the CPL is very thin, and I had a difficult time getting it off my 80-400 one day...
I just upgraded LR 6 from 5, and will begin trying to PP all of my sorted photos to build my website. It has taken awhile (my goal was to have it built by now), but life gets in the way :).
Up to now, I have always just tweaked in LR as I saw fit on each photo. Do presets really help? I am...
Look at this guy, how does this thing work?
Oh yeah.
Me at a Bryan Peterson workshop, Key West Jan 2015. The guy that took the pic of me had his date wrong in his camera, they were taken at the same time. Enjoy.
I always like The Eagles, but over the last few years I really began to appreciate them. Today is a sad day.
I've been watching my Hell Freezes Over DVD all evening, took a shot of the TV with the camera and messed with it in LR. His partner silhouetted in the background during Desperado...
This is the cemetery on Mont St. Michel in Normandy, taken June 2014. Mont St. Michel is stunning, I highly suggest it along with Normandy in general. Enjoy.
Last weekend a front was moving through and I thought the sunset would be great, but the front was lagging so I blew off trying to capture it. I had stuff on the stove and went outside and saw this. I just grabbed the camera and took a few shots in the road in front of my house to remind myself...
I bought a refurbished D7100, and the date on the exif data is 2 years off. Is there any way I can change this in camera? I know how to update it in LR, but it would be nice if it came out of the camera correct and I didn't have to fix the file every time. Thanks.
Got to try out the refurbished D7100 I bought a couple of weeks ago. I'm still trying to figure out why I sold my first one and bought my D750. I took some equivalent shots with the two cameras on a pretty detailed subject, and after washing thru LR I can't tell the difference. Jpegs in the D750...
This is a little stream coming off the backside of the trout hatchery below the Norfork Lake dam in the Ozark Mountains. I was staying in some cabins about 45 minutes away and didn't have my camera. The fog was over the river with a very hard break about 6' off the water. I went back to my cabin...
Bought this instead of the 80-400 lol.
Don't do too much HDR, there's some funky stuff going on in the trees but don't have patience to mess with it. Took this in Utopia Park on the Sabinal River, Utopia, Tx. Anyway, enjoy.
Don't mean to threadjack, but if you haven't gone on your trip the road from the east into Zion has some stunning scenery. If you can get there after a snow it is very cool. I took this in Dec 2013 with my first camera, still clueless. I don't know wth I was doing looking at the metadata. Enjoy.
I've got one of these that I used to calibrate my external LED display. I have the display connected to my laptop.
But, now my laptop display looks bad. I assume this is because the adjustments within my laptop were used to calibrate the external display. If I re-calibrate my laptop display...
I took these over on Hwy 39 near 187 intersection, about 30 miles west of Hunt. They've had much more rain this spring than they have the past few years, and things are pretty green. Enjoy.
Yes, I was the same way. I do have neck problems so I thought I would use it when on tripod when I bend over to compose, but I use it much more. Here is another one, at a river near my sister's place over by Lost Maples State Park in Texas, this is the Sabinal River. I almost dunked my camera by...
