While technically this is not quite what the theme of this thread is about. This shot is of the top of a hill a rider is just cresting during a night time hill climb. City lights make the back drop and the glow at the bottom is the mercury lights 600 feet below the top.

Because I am hoping that it will be the cheapest way to get to a fast -- low light lens. I don't like using artificial light such as flash. The challenge to me is to make a capture in totally natural -ie- available light. This shot from last summer was close. I was able to be pre-focused on...

While at Sturgis a couple weeks ago we went to the Indian Motorcycle reveal block party. Normally I don't shoot stuff like this, but had my camera and a new to me 35mm f/1.8G lens on it. It seems to me, that I missed the mark in both shots by having either the DOF or the foreground too blurry...

Finally got to take a few shots with this lens yesterday. I did say a few. :( Ended up working as a corner flagger for the races instead of snapping pictures but here is one that turned out pretty decent.

New to me lens showed up and haven't had much time to play with it. Was down in the Black Hills the other day and took this shot of Devils Tower way off in the distance. Handheld in the landscape mode with no post editing. I'm pretty tickled. :)

Took our girl Koko camping. She loves camping.

BLING! No bang yet on the bike I am building and had to order different coils. The 3.0 ohm coils she had are not correct and needs 1.5 ohm coils. So nothing much else to do now except polish and shine while waiting for new coils and take a few pictures.

Been real busy lately. Transmission went out in old truck and finally new truck showed up. Maiden voyage.
