performed the dot-tune method for auto focus fine tune.cloudy day but did the best I could.learned a few other things in the process.
1) my tamron 70-200 wont auto focus in live view.
2)my giottos vt806 tripod is almost useless with my set-up
3) it is very hard to manually focus in live view...
Am I wrong to expect a brand new camera to have good,sharp focus out of the box?since when do we have to purchase software,after we get our camera,to be able to get acceptable pictures.I did not see any warning on Nikons website making me aware of this.my four previous new cameras focused...
I've been doing a ton of reading in books and on the internet about the d-7000.It seems to me that a lot of people dial in a lot of in camera sharpening when shooting jpeg.don't you loose a lot of data with lots of sharpening?I've been seeing sugestions of +7 to +9 levels.should'nt the d-7000 be...
