Hi, When i want to take a pic at minimum focus distance I cant choose f/4 (in manual or aperture priority). It is maximum 5.2. Is that normal? I thought f/4 would be at all distances if I choose so. Am I doing something wrong or is my lens faulty? I bought it new and hardly used it.

I recently bought a 28-300 3.5-5.6G but i'm not happy with that lens. I saw a 180mm 2.8 and I can change my lens for that one. I wonder i the 180mm 2.8 is worth trading for my 28-300? I noticed that I prefer fixed lenses over zooms.
