Hi, Does anybody know if it is okay to change a focusing screen in an F2 whilst there is still film in the camera?

Hi, I am using a Nikon F2 with a Nikkor 28mm f2.8 lens. Does anyone know why the centre ONLY is soft focused? Surely as I am focusing in the centre of the viewfinder it should only be the other way around?

I understand it is advisable to either over expose through your viewfinder metering or reduce the default iso setting. ie (iso200 film adjusted to iso100). Are any of these methods preferable to eachother and if so why? Read more...
