I like cheap ! This product I really like. Very delighted to be using Air Live Drive. Lets you mount your cloud drives (onedrive, google drive, amazon, dropbox) as individual local drives. Multiple services mounted at once and coexist nicely. All apps work just exactly as if these services...

Question for folks who know birds, well bird houses...

I've seen these type of things attached to trees several times on walks in the woods, all over the country. This one is near a new hike/bike path in my neighborhood. Most have a simple rain/sun shade that is missing here. This week's wood grain photos collection (since it features an...

https://petapixel.com/2019/01/03/the-first-clear-photos-of-an-object-at-the-edge-of-the-solar-system/ How did they know a 21 mile long object was out there 4.1B miles away ? Then navigate near enough (18,000 miles) to photograph it ? And how many nano/femto watts of radio waves came back to...

Gray market, so far I like the ones I have, but surprised to learn seller policy

On another forum, there's a post that quotes B&H's policy on used equipment. Their terms and conditions say they do not keep up with the gray market status of their used equipment. They say this is because used equipment is likely out-of-warranty anyway. Glad I did not buy a gray market D750...

Suggestion: new rule about number of pictures that can be posted per day per member

Good grief, some folks use this forum as their permanent cloud storage. Some forums have a limit, and ask for the best one rather than posting a dozen of the same thing taken seconds apart.

    Anybody use Adobe Spark ?

The price is right. FREE (well, if it is as good as it looks it likely will go to paid) I'm going to give it a try and see if it is good for converting stills to video. https://spark.adobe.com/sp/login

D100 "iso auto" "auto iso" - does it really work ?

I've been playing with my old D100 and it has a menu item to TURN ON iso-auto which is suppose to work in PSAM modes, all of them. There's no place to set a minimum shutter speed which ought to be a minimum requirement for this option. Searching the Internet and found that a few others, like...

    Tamron 46A 70-210mm w/ adaptall-2 for Nikon (D7100)

My neighbor gave me this (inherited) 30 year old pristine lens a couple days ago and I like its results very much even though it will not win a sharpness contest with something more modern. It really lets me know how valuable AF is on a camera without a ground glass viewfinder screen...

Rear screen protectors - still needed ?

My D300s had a clear plastic rear screen protector which seems to have done some good over the years. That camera has built in socket/grooves for the protector to snap into. Should I be looking for something for my new-to-me D7100 rear screen ? No snap on capability with this camera but...
