Help, I have a d 5100 and when I plug a HDMI cable into the camera and to a 7 inch monitor, the camera goes dark, no live view or info on the camera screen just on the monitor. I have another 5100 that works fine, the 7 inch monitor and screen on camera work fine together. What the ???

Shooting strobe / hummingbirds with the D7000 Will the D7000 with its high speed sync freeze hummers wings ? using 2 strobes at 1/16 power for fast strobe speed. Will the D7000 say set at 1/1000 th do the trick. Thanks for any info. Ken

Need advice, got this from B&H used in great condition, AF Nikor 80-200mm f2.8D, put it on my D5300, it works fine in manual focus, swich from M to A on the barrel it locks but won't auto focus, any advice wil be most healpful. (ps. the kit lens auto focus works fine) thanks Kenh
